it isnt easy to love a man who has been in love before.
you spend nights thinking of how to not end up doing the same thing his first love used to do for him. sometimes during a date, you thought of how he had treated his first love and when he did or said something nice, you would feel bad simply knowing that he might say the same thing to his almost lover.
it really isnt easy to be someone's shadow. you could spend hours, staring him and all he remembered is how she made him laugh bcs he was telling her about his dream but she smiled dearly while looking deep into his eyes. you could be all sweetheart but he was suddenly upset bcs he remembered how she threw away the teddy bear he gave her.
during a fight, you'd feel as if he's comparing you to her. how she might never hurt him the way you did or how she never said the word he hated. or worse, if he ever wavered when she came to him and said that she missed him a lot. sometimes i feel like he's juggling his decision to get back to her or continue to love the mess in yourself.
he promised he had moved on...
but it really isnt easy to love a guy who has been in love.
